Hey guys, Got out today to a couple new (to us) cellar holes with my fiancee and manage to pick these out of the pops and grunts. These are the days that keep us hooked!

My Find of the day- Indian War 1874 pattern officer and cavalry sword belt plate.

I've yet to be in the trime club. The belt plate was my find and the trime was hers. I'll get there one day!

Both are really great finds, and in such fine shape.

Great stuff.8-)

Congrats to both of you on your finds. I found a very similar Indian Wars Belt Plate in Oklahoma about 3 yrs. ago. Mine was a stamped Brass plate. Notice my avatar. That is the plate I found. Nice job.

Awesome buckle, found a U.S belt plate a couple of weekends ago myself, love the 3 cent silver ---good luck[emoji108]

Ended up taking this to work last night to show it off and people start getting the idea that they should take up detecting.. Then you gatta tell them how miserable it really is and how you got incredibly lucky and that they wouldn't want to do something like that. :laughing7: hahaha
