Indian face token?

Found this last Saturday from a lot dating to early 1900's. almost discarded when I dug it up but with some of the great finds I have been finding there I decided to keep everything until I look at it better. On the banner beneath the indian head there was writing but barely legible even in reverse image, the back is plain. any ideas or identification would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It looks like the "Pontiac" Chief.

Thanks for the reply huntindog, think its to thin for that. Found a few type set pcs over the years and concluded it was not one of those, might be one of those mystery pieces that ill never know about. Thanks again. HH
