After doing my testing the other nite with my SEF 6x8 coil and using manual I decided to go an entire weekend using ONLY my small coil in yards. I'd say I was pretty successful. This is my finds from friday, saturday and sunday. Hunted some old houses, an empty lot, and a small sidewalk tearout, found the following:

bunch wheats
2 indians 1888, 1908
2 buffalos 1926, 1928
1943 war nickel
6 silver dimes, 1913, 1917, 1935, 1937, 1940 and 1953
3 tokens, palmolive, Good luck token, and 5 cents at the bar
Anheuser Busch metal beer bottle, date 1897 on bottom
Buckle, looks to have been silver plated
Plated junker ring
1950 play dime
small cross
little bird button
Military collar button

I think I will be using the small coil in yards a lot more from now on, now sure why I never did as I have owned it for way over 2 years, been basically just using it in fields. It gets incredible depth, especially when using manual.

Is that Palmolive token aluminum or another metal As I have found one identical to it here in Florida
this one is the brass variety, I have found 5-6 of the aluminum ones and I think only 3 of the brass

Great hunt! That is why I love my 6x8 and it is on my machine most of the time.

Now that is the kind of stuff I like to find. All really cool items. Those Indians look to be in really nice shape. Congrats on the silver and everything else as well.
