Incredible Hunt!

Hey y'all! Got a chance to hunt a new spot in the NC foothills for the second time today. So far, Kyanite specimens have been few and far between but Sillimanite is fairly abundant. The quality of some of the Sillimanite crystals is incredible! It was quite a treat finding these little gems considering just how rare they are to find in such good shape. Below are just a few examples. Hope you enjoy the pics!

Those are nice! I bet there is some Kyanite among them to. They sometimes come together.

Those are really cool! There is supposed to be kyanite here in Montana, but I've never found any. I really like the blue in that first pic!

Those are some gorgeous specimens. I am rather fond of some of the blue colored stones. I can't wait for the snow to melt so I can get out there hunting.
