Hello all

I am back for new adventures, always with my XP deus.

This time it's amazing, here is a beautiful lost purse of 28 currencies Royal Francaises found this weekend in the woods near a small road between two villages.

You can imagine my joy at the discovery, unforgettable!

The coins are mostly quarter ecu Henri II and Henri III of the 1600 ... a little close ...

Congrats on the Super Recovery!!
I just LOVE 17th century silver:hello2:

Beautiful old silvers and congrats on the banner

How sweet it must be to live in a place where you can find fistfuls of hammered silver from the 1600s. I am jealous!

Bravo! Très bien fait!
Nicely done!

Truly a once in a lifetime find cache! WTG! :goldtrophy:

Awesome find!

How do you name these types of losses here?
Here in France is called find a "boursée"

Does "boursée" mean a lot of coins found together? If so, then the common english word used in detecting would be "hoard".

This is in french called "bourse" :

Over the purse is full of coins more likely it is to tear away from the rider's waist :laughing7:

The coins are found on the ground sometimes in packs and sometimes scattered over several meters as was the case for me this time.

In the case of a hoarding, currencies should rather be all in one place and in a container

Congratulations on your banner find! Simply amazing!

The word in French for a hoard, would probably be cache ?

"cache" or "dépot"
