In Memory of Stoney56 ~ TNet Member

Evy,
If there is anything that I can do for you don't hesitate to ask. You are in my thoughts and prayers daily.

Be strong Evy, will be praying for you and the family during these hard times.

A poem for Evy.

You never said 'I'm leaving"
You never said goodbye
You were gone before I knew it
And only God knows why.

A million times I needed you
And your arms were open wide
If love alone could have saved you
You never would have died.

In life I loved you dearly
In death I love you still
In my heart you hold a place
No one else could ever fill

It broke my heart to lose you
But you didn't go alone
For part of me went with you
The day God took you home.

I am shocked and stunned. Condolences to you Evy and family.

I met Stoney at CTH 1 and was impressed with the sincerity and friendliness.
Every hunt he would look me up and we would spend time talking while hunting.
He always was willing to help and never asked for anything in return.

The MD'ing community, Tnet and CTH has lost a great person.

While I am too far away to offer any help Evy, I leave you with this to help
ease and comfort you during this time.

Psalms 91

My friend Stoney.

All that I ask is a smile when I cross your mind

It started with a big smile and firm handshake.
In no time we were swinging the MD’s and
smiling at each other’s finds. After a three hour
supper sharing our love for the bobby it ended
with a smile and yet started a great friendship.
How fitting it was that it ended with a great big smile
and firm handshake.
Yes Stoney I will smile when you cross my mind, a big one at that.

Your buddie Burdie

Stoney you will be missed i read many of your posts with great pleassure,,,

I just heard Evy. Not much I can add here. I only know both of you through T-Net but I know you are both wonderful people. They say your accomplishments in life can be measured by what you leave behind and it appears to me that he has left a lot of love behind, love for everyone.

This is a terrible shock! Jeff was a fine fellow here and always had a good attitude.

I have many great memories of our kidding each other and our PMs back and forth over the years.

Our prayers are for his family and friends.

Just found out...Don't know what to say except I'm sorry...Stoney was a great man and friend to many here at TreasureNet. He will be missed and prayers are on the way for his family.
