whats worse than that clad is the market flooding of "magnetic" gold and silver coin "replicas" made in china. No fooling, coins made in the exact same appearance as rare coins, but plated ferrous metals. I refuse to buy coins or bullion on eBay.

Yes I know exactly what you're saying these same ads are all over the back pages of my hunting magazines... Just hard to believe people fall for it.. A gold coin for $19.99.. But hey it's been said on here already "buyer beware" people are there own worst enemy when it comes to buying these things.. What's worse getting ripped of or having absolutley no knowledge about something you're about to spend your hard earned money on..

I made several terrible purchases back in the day, my worst being $80 worth of dateless buffaloes at $1.50 apiece. lol

I have no sympathy for buyers, we all have to learn the hard way to start out, it's the only way to get proficient

Some of the best lessons in life are also the hardest lessons. Unfortunately we are living in a society where there is no such thing as "making a mistake". There is no such thing as taking responsability for one's own actions and it is never MY fault.

My wife is a school teacher. She always tells me that our kids will never truly learn if we do not allow them to fail and make mistakes.

I couldn't agree with you more! I can't tell you how much better my life has been since that pivotal moment as a young adult when I decided to stop making excuses and telling white lies, and to own up to everything like a man. It's been great for my relationships, that's for sure.
