If I am correct there is a history of Indians in your neck of the woods, and if you are not being to successful at your present sites I would look around for some other possible spots to hunt. Wishing you the best for those elusive artifacts.

Yea sorry to say but no American Indian artifacts there just some natural stones. Keep looking though u will find one someday

I think you have a few worked pieces but nothing whole and a lot of pieces that look like they should be something but are not. Keep looking and once you figure out the touched by man theory on rock it is easy.

These look like they were reduced down.
Good luck in all your hunts and do not get discouraged.

There might be, and it's a big stretch, some Scrapers or Flake Tools in all of those pieces but for the most part everything I see is a natural rock and not an artifact.

And my qualifications, 48 years of collecting artifacts.

Look a little harder, imho there are some artifacts among all those natural stones.

Quito, I'm with you. I circled a few that I see.



I did see a majority that have no working. However, majority isn't all. You have some worked stuff. You are hunting a good spot I'd say. Gator is a good source and a good friend of mine. He can come across a bit crude at times. With that being said. Take closer pictures of the ones I circled. I think others will see man's work, just as we do.

Yeah at times Gator is rude, crude and moody but he grows on ya and if you can catch him on a good day he is quite nice. Just speaking the truth GB and you know it, lol.
On the other artifacts pic 7 and 10 have pics with worked items in them. Pic 10 is Debitage mostly but if you want to get detailed Debitage is still ancient man made stone flakes which is a artifact. You know I like detail

Ok Ok, I Give....Gator Boy, No Harm Done, I have to Admit, You were All Right !
The thing is I only posted Pictures of what I had already photographed and that was No Where Close To What I Have. I would like to Thank Everybody For Your Help, First of All !
Now Then, I Had A Very Pleasant Visit With An Paleontologist Yesterday. Of Course He Told Me The Same Thing About Some Of The Pieces That He Looked At.... But Also ,He Was Able To Confirm Many As Well. I Do Have A Very Nice Collection Of Shell And Bone That He Was Quite Impressed With, As Well, 15 Or so Arrow Heads just from the Few I Carried To Him. Also He Stated I Have A Few Very Rare Stones. As Well as The Three Petrified Oyster Shells That I Have, One Of Which , We Believe Was Altered With A Mask Type Face, I Have Read Articles On How The Indians Did That. So Again Thanks To Everyone For Your Assistance, And I Will Be Posting Pictures of What The Paleontologist Found Later On In Order To Share With You All.
