I'm sorry sherm, I found my 3 little letters. V-D-and B
Hi Sherm,
So, A little bird told me that thse V's D's and B's can be really hard to see. Well, I had meant to take my magnifying glass to the coin, but I didn't see any sign of them, so I didn't worry about it. Well, after seeing an actual VDB coin, I realized just how small those little buggers are. I went back and got a little more dirt off the coin, then glassed it and sure enough, there they were. No, there isn't an S, but I actually DUG a VDB penny. I was pretty stoked when I found a 1909 penny, but I did the happy dance when I saw those little letters.
So, Sherm, you are forgiven for having a VDB penny, my envy has been sated, so now we can be friends again. I will even remove the land-mines from all your favorite MD spots.
Sorry the pic of the letters isn't better, hewlett packard is pretty much crap.
