Well two of my buddies and me had a hunt on a new permission planned for Saturday and of course it started snowing Friday evening. We got less than one and a half inches and it warmed up quick but it was still a mess. One Buddy back out on us but I had to get out.
The new permission was pretty much a bust but I did find some melt and one impacted bullet. We moved on to another site were I managed two nice drops. One 69 and a 58. Found two buttons, one was an eagle but the front disintegrated as soon as I got hold of it. That happens to us a lot. Farm ground around here is hard on buttons but I was still glad to find it. I'm glad I got to scratch the itch and hope all had a nice weekend. Thanks for looking. Nice finds! Spring is will be warming up soon! :occasion14:

At least you were able to land a couple of nice drops out of the hunt. Nice job.

Nice old lead! Congrats! :icon_thumleft: Man spring isn't coming fast enough for me too!

Nice finds. The bullets are in great shape. I feel bad for you there, it's supposed to see close to 90 degrees here this week in Apache Junction.

nice bullets

I had the same problem, but I had a good site down the mountain where there was no snow. Glad you could get out and scratch the itch. Our buttons are usually pretty bad too. But at least you found a couple of nice drops. Hopefully the weather will straighten out soon.

Keep swingin.

We'll second that....ready for spring and the sun to come out would be nice!!!!:icon_thumleft:

Good on you for braving the elements and getting out. And you were rewarded with a couple of nice CW relics.

Hopefully the weather will settle down for you shortly.

Psst, I got sun burned yesterday.

Those finds would have made for a successful hunt esp, the BIG 69 , sorry about the GS Eagle.
GL , It will be 94 & humid before we know it.

Thanks Davers, I'm just like you and will be happy with just one bullet. Those big 69 are always welcome!

Nice 69!

I feel your pain. It's 75 here, sunny, with a slight breeze coming from the gulf. :tongue3:

At least you got out and dug a few things. I'm still looking out the window, dreaming of better days ahead, which can't come soon enough. Good luck on your next hunt.

Good you got out Mi is kinda crappy also I did get out for a little bit today
