That's the stuff I like the best. But because you noticed that, I'll post another one with all my stuff. I try to get it up in a day or two. That's because I'm on an overtime schedule right now and I don't have time to go through and separate the stuff I found last from all my other stuff. But I will do it.

Hey Ricardo. . . this is a neat idea!

This was my first season of metal detecting (purchased an XLT this past June) and I consider myself fortunate in a lot of respects.
I found TNet and became a member in February and have met some truly wonderful people here and made a lot of new friends.

After giving some thought about what "find" I should post. . . being a "rookie". . . this is the most meaningful to me.

My first hunt after I bought my detector was in my father-in-laws back yard. After digging a few rusty nails, I got a signal by the
base of a tree at about 3-inches and dug my FIRST coin. . . a clad quarter wrapped in a Post-It note that my 19-year-old son
had buried the night before

I combined the photos of my 2007 rings (since June) into these 2 photos. They are in chronologically order as found.

Sure enjoying EVERYTHING I find ... even the unknown pieces.

............these pics are from my ongoing pictorial metal detecting scrapbook that currently has 161 pages in it. We would be here all night if I posted all of them. I won't do that, so, ......here's a pic from page 2 & also page 77:

Check out that BH RB-10 in the pic. It was one of those detectors one had to "whip" back & forth to get good depth.
That was everything ( except current coinage--those clads went into pop machines, parking meters, etc. ) found from 1980 to 1982. Below is a pic of all non clad targets found from 1980 till 1998.

That pic also includes all the display cases I had up till then.
I have a few more now not in that 10 year old pic.
