I'm just dang lucky!

Woohoo! A year of firsts is piling up on me, finally I'm coming up with silver in my 3rd yr of hunting. I did get a silver washington last year and a couple of mercs and rosey's but this year is taking off at moch1 for me! Started out with my 1st Franklin half and then my 1st Walking Liberty half, now today I was blessed (Sidewalk construction, gotta love those sidewalks!) with my 1st Standing Liberty quarter, and not just one either, TWO!! However, you already know this I'm sure, I was also blessed with DATELESS!!!!! Yeah baby, now these chics will never again let their ages be known. Though they are definately not Variety 1's, bummer! And no mint marks. Before finding these this morning came up a 1908-P Indian Head cent. Also dug up Wheaties, 1924, 1942, 1945. Oh, a large pocket full of Lincoln memorials also, can't go a hunt without them dudes.

My partner and I just missed some sidewalks the other day. We were driving to one of the local parks around here and passed a three block strip that they were already pouring the new concrete onto to...
Made us both cry...
Were keeping an eye on the area,,, hopefully we can catch them at the right time, next time...

Dang will you look at that! I got yet another 1st two days in a row. It's a 1903 Barber Dime came smiling up at me this morning, very cool to see! And not my first IH, but it is my first 1864! Can't tell if it's "L" or not, fair condition and worn. Also picked up a 1906 IH, dug up my first 1909 Wheatie too, no VDB though. A 1956 Rosey and a 1952-S Washington along with '34 wheat, two '46 wheats and a '50D wheatie. One of the '46's was not a sidewalk find but all others are.

Q: Why is my silver 25c and 10c so chalky-gray and won't wipe off? They were in a differant section of sidewalk than that of the Barber dime that is clean. Odd, I thought all sivler came up beautiful.
Not so for these two guys today.
