Can someone tell me if the city parks are ok to detect in? What are the ages? any older parks ??

I called the city and after 20+ minutes and a few transfers... I learned that Metal Detecing was ok in the City Parks...

I did a quick look see and decided on a park down town...

20 seconds after arrival I dug a 12/45 3-4" signal... 1942 S Mercury Dime... Silver Coin # 104 for 2010... (Sorry for the not so clear picts from my cell phone...)

I also recovered two wheat backed pennies... 1929 S and a 1946 D

Clad count was decent... there is a token from a place called Boondocks...

The Boondocks token is from an amusement park. There are several located around the Northern Utah and the Southern Idaho area.

Nice finds for your collection.
