So today was the first day i started permisison hunting since last year. Over the winter i hit the farm fields pretty hard and now theyre all full up of farmers and plants and im back out looking for permissions. The second place we stopped at gave us permission and we had a great day.
1883, 1884, 1886, 1888, 1889, 1895, 1897, 1898, 1901 and no date IHPs, an 188_ sheild nickel and a buffolo with no date, 1856 and 1886 seated dimes, a 1901 barber dime, two mercs (1920&1944) and a shiney 1964 rosie dime with a 1897 barber quarter! Oh how i missed the front yards! Thanks for looking and happy hunting everyone!
Also there was very little junk and there was almost no ground mineralization or emi.

Someone grabbed Grandpas coin collection. Oh well, They are yours now!!! Congrats on a heck of a find. OK, I quit! LOL

Just so were all clear these werent found in one hole. These were all of my coin finds from our hunt yesturday. We only hit the front yard and a bit of the side yard but there was very little emi and the ground mineralization was almost none. All those coins came from about 8" +/-2". Quarter was about 11", dimes were all about 7", nickels and IHPs all around 8". Seriously dream yard stuff. Ill be back there once i get back from chicago! Ive left my precious coins back in ny to go to work! All ive got now are my pictures....which i keep looking at. My favorite is the 1856 seated. The stars on the front and the usa on the back just make it such a beautiful coin. Good luck everyone!
