As a follow up to the follow up, here are the last few finds I'm posting from a three day dig. Doesn't seem to be too many old coins in this area, mostly relics and such. But hey, who knows.
Older pocket knife with the wood handle still intact. Blades are completely gone but the brass spacers are still there. Found this thing waaayyy down in the clay on the beach.
A 1909 Canadian 5 cent piece. Not too bad shape.
I have no idea what this thing is. The figure on it is kind of disturbing. It's copper with some very old, flaking paint. Any ideas?
Thanks for looking!
