Yes, i know you all have missed me. its OK. I'm back. lol

I have been very busy with school and I recently got a new job as a salesman for Verizon wireless. Anyone need a phone?

anyway, i have been hunting off and on for the past month, but had ZERO luck with halves. So i decided to pick up a box of pennies the other day.

nothing really out of the ordinary came, a few 1930s, one 1920s, but then.......BAM.

An AU to BU 1909, the only damage is a scratch RIGHT ACROSS THE MINT MARK!!!

there is no VDB, but i nearly had a heart attack when i saw the 1909.

I'd be more excited about the coins from the "1220's". Those have to be silver or gold!!!

Seriously, nice find. It wasn't that long ago I pulled my first 1909 S from circulation. Too bad it was a Barber Half and not a penny.
