I'll Be Hunting the Palm Tree Median Until I Have Zero Targets Left...

I just completed my 12th visit to the palm tree median strip and dug out another 6 wheat pennies, this brings my total wheaties from here to 77!

The best target for the day would be a silver ring with a marijuana depiction.

This is my second marijuana silver ring from the palm tree median strip, the first one was that silver snuff ring a few weeks ago. I'm working an area only about one mile from the Haight Ashbury Hippy district of San Francisco...so it figures...

Lucky I got this hunt in yesterday....we have a rain storm blowing through the bay area right now.

Nice finds. That hand isn't a Buddhist symbol like suggested, but instead a Hamsa. It's a sign of protection throughout the middle-east and one that's (ironically) shared between Jewish and Muslim faiths.

I know the feeling of being "weirded out" in a busy area with lots of cars and pedestrians going by. I just go into extreme concentration mode on my sweep through and ignore the gazes. It's strange to think about a thousand cars going by and everyone driving by was looking at me.....I don't care, all those silver coins I've found on this strip have been really worth it.
