Had the morning off, so I decided to do some digging early before the heat got too insane.

Found a few keepers ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1501265954.253091.jpg

Too bad the pin isn't in better shape, always love finding military related itemsImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1501266008.072977.jpg

Indian, couple George pennies, and a silver quarter was nice to find. But this Buffalo turned out be in really good shape. It's gotta be the best one I've ever dug.ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1501266136.544956.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1501266168.669468.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1501266195.569071.jpg

Good luck out there everybody

JC-- you've got a nice variety of goodies there. And given that the medal still has some color on it, I'd say it looks pretty good. Especially for being dug. Congrats. -Lisa & John

Nice score on those keepers. That Buffalo didn't see much circulation and is absolutely gorgeous. One of my favorite coin designs. :icon_thumright:

That Buffalo is in really nice shape. I've never found one that nice, mine are always worn smooth. Congrats.

Agree with the posts - that Buffalo is in incredible shape! Congrats! :occasion14:

Wow on the buffalo! That is very nice and so are the rest of those finds.HH

Cool relics...excellent condition Buffalo nickel. :occasion14:

Thanks for the replies everyone. And I gotta say, I really enjoyed the early morning hunt. I might have to do that more often.

Buffy lookin' very much like a crisp $50 note in that condition..:occasion18: :icon_biggrin: :icon_thumleft: :icon_thumright:

That Buffalo may not only be the best you've ever dug, but is probably the very best I've EVER seen come out of the ground- Congrats!

Nice hunting man! That quarter is sweet, I found a nice clad 1970s version of that lol, cool buffalo too, good job!

Hello J.Cache. That was a great hunt, nice finds all!! We've all got worn out Buff's...so nice to see a good one like that especially w some age on it...looks like is worth a few $'s too.

Mornin' hunts are great but the heat is almost always a killer down here in FLA...I've learned to drink water, move slow, dig, repeat, and leave the adult beverages until the diggin's done.

Thanks for the post and Good Luck out there. C9

That really is one sweet nickel. Congrats on a pristine coin

X12 on the Buffalo, the silver quarter is nice also... thinking Canada kept their silver going for a couple years past the United States mints. Just now reconfirmed with a Google.
Congrats on your hunt !!
