Seeing what you guys find consistantly.......................ANYWHERE BACK EAST!!! I dream of finding 1800's silver & copper, dont think there is much of that here in Idaho, at least not in this area. Gabbit does very well finding silver in Boise, about 4 hour west of me, but Ive found no silver coins in 5 months here. Ive been thinking bout moving east, girlfreinds mother lives west of Pittsburgh. Bet that'd be a nice place to hunt.
To stray off the topic slightly, Am I imagining it when I say that, in my opinion, most TH'ers have a GRASS IS ALWAYS GREENER syndrome. The one's on the East Coast think all the gravy's on the West Coast, & vice versa. Am I wrong?
Hattra and Ninevah in Iraq; Troy, and more sites in Greece and Italy
than I can name, and Carthage. Plus the site where the Bactrian Gold was found in
Afghanistan-its never been dug right.
Little Big Horn comes to mind, but honestly, any ghost town where there had been an explosion in the bank would be fine. I wonder where that railroad car was parked when Butch and Sundance blew it to smithereens?

There is a county club that is near by that has had a beach for many years. Last year they built a pool. However, they won't let anyone detect there as the owner is an archaeologist and thinks there are relics on the property, but won't search for them. He's a dinosaur too.
I would hunt the remote beaches on Kodiak Island. I walked a few of them years ago and picked up neat stuff like glass balls. Also the Island was washed by a huge tidal wave in the 60's that put a cannery ship in uptown Kodiak. Ya, if I could hit the four sunny days they have each year. Nice subject though..to get the daydreams going.
