These calibur relics were all pulled by farmers when they first started moldboarding 150 years ago. They didn't bother with the little cute ones, so you may ask yourself why this is? It's rhetorical, but the answer is they believed the big beautiful relics were once own by great Indian chiefs. This is not subjective thought, I have a couple primary resources that can give this credence. They gladly hopped of that mule driven chariot and picked them up and put them in the ole tin can. Those tin can relics could have bought their farms with todays values. A century has gone by since this relic was discovered and you just have to wonder how many more are out there, unfortunately very few. Happy Hunting and merry Christmas.

Lostlake, that is one fine piece however you type it. Here are the gorget pics. I guess one is a Pendant since it has only one hole. It looks to be granite. The black one is Cannel Coal. If you see these Pickaway, the Woodland Knife was found near that creek off 104 I told you about. I have a lot of Woodland and Mississippian stuff from that area.

Newnan i just drove down 104 yesterday & looked at that creek no easy access unless i traverse the river then walk it which i'll do this summer.Didnt see any place really to ask permission eithier wasnt there a farm house on west side of 104 there?.Also only 1 plowed field from 316 to 56 ouch...

Hey Pickaway,
Not a lot I could tell you now as it has been over 30 yrs. since I hunted those fields. No-till is killing you as they used to plow every year. The old land owners name was Stickel I think. I kind of walked where I pleased in those days, one field just kind of eased into the next. Good luck!
