IDK?

can anybody tell me what in the hell is this? It about a 1ft 1/2 long. An I think it's made out of stone. I thought maybe it was an axe. My brother found it on his property in northeastern Ohio. This is the other side of it.

Looks natural to me. I spent all my summers when I was a kid at Geneva-on-the Lake , OH and saw many stones on the beach that had this "look". It may have broke like that from being in a fire or hit with another rock?
