✅ SOLVED ID on Makers Mark

Found this today while detecting at the beach. I'm wondering if anyone can identify the maker's mark? I wonder how old it is.

Maybe WWII U.S. Navy

A claim on this site is the makers mark is from the Kinney Company, Providence, Rhode Island. Founded around 1907. In business at least into the 1970's.
