Dug recently on a property that dates back to early to mid 1800s. Has what looks to be a heart and arrow design. My first thought was part of a spur ? But can’t wrap my head around how it would attach? The shape seems to make Me think for a spur it is backwards ? Any help much appreciated

Half of a drawer pull?
Thanks Robert I guess it could be based on what is there and matching it on the other side it would be roughly 7 inch drawer pull . Seems big to me but holding it like a drawer pull it kinda if feels like it a bit ?

Interesting find. On your second picture there is a hole filled w/ dirt at about 6 o'clock. Clean it out then post if it is threaded and/or goes all the way through.
