I'd forgotten just how relaxing water hunting can be

I wanted to go out today but I didn't feel like putting up with the heat. So, I went where the
humidity is 100 percent plus. ;) I decided on trying a long ago favorite spot of mine for wading
around in cool water. It had always been one of my favorites way, way back when I used to do a lot of
water hunting.

It's held up pretty much like I remembered it too. Strange, how a place can remain like it was 40 years ago in this
ever changing environment. It is one of those, "used to be" beaches from a long time ago and it really is kind of still
out of the way. Blink, and ya miss it kind of places. It helps knowing it was there, LOL.

Anyway, honestly, I just didn't have any expectations. I would've been happy to just be able to wade around in some
cool water and reminisce about earlier times. BUT, surprise of surprises, this place appears to be close to the way I
left it many, many years ago! LOL Oh sure, you can see the differences, time does do it's work. But, the place seemed
happy to see me too. Judging by the finds.

I swear, this little handful looked like the results of any of the trips I made way back when. It's a nice lil place that appears
to still be viable. That's rare all by itself! :)

Typical stuff too:

Nice cool "walk" around an old familiar place
AND, finding!

The center one was the reason I felt this place
was saying Welcome Back ole friend! It was
my very first signal today! LOL

So, nice day, nice wade, they're happy, I'm happy.

Ahhhh....was nice! :)

Thanks for peeking!

Nothing better than calm clear water... with not a sole around...
Serenity at its best.
:)

Yep, Some people on the shore or in boats who think of you as crazy, laugh at you. But, in the meantime, you go about
collecting gold, silver & diamonds and you reserve your laughing for the trip to the "bank". LOL ;)

Let alone the serenenity.

Sounds good to me!

Say, when you detect a truck in a field you get to claim it, I wonder if...... naaahhhh. ;)

Not with the plates still on it. :laughing7:
Maybe if it was completely submerged...the marine salvage laws may.....Na!

Well perhaps he hadn't washed his truck in a while and it just wanted a bath? :dontknow:

Whadi, Sure looks like you had a blast and reaped a bountiful harvest of silver and goodies. Very happy for you! Not too much humidity or heat here in the Ozarks, just artfully dodging tornadoes and T-storms as I detect. I do have rocky creeks that folks go wading in, and with the ATPro and my new "Garrett Carrot," you have inspired me to go water detectin' ! We shall "sea" what Davy Jones' locker gives up. Sub 8-)
