My neighbor found this a few years ago when he put his new septic system in. The Blade is made from Knife River Flint and is very thin and large! The Blade gives you a special feeling to hold it. Just had to share.
That is an impressive blade. Knapping anything takes skills. Knapping a point or blade over 5” gets very tricky. Once you start getting longer than that, supporting the extra length when striking off a flake is difficult. The vibration wants to snap it in half. Add the fact the the material is KRF. Very tough material and totally unforgiving to knap. Awesome piece!
