I Was Obviously Looking For Rings!

I was obviously looking for rings, as I did not find any silver coins last weekend. I found a bunch of clad and a half dozen wheaties, but, no shiny coins.

As soon as I saw this, I knew it was a silver ring. Amazing how the little things make your day.



It's really small, weighs in at only .6 grams, for a melt value of $.35! Please notice that I did not destroy it with the digger! Whew.



I also found two junkers. My superb pinpointing skills allowed me to fold the fake gold one in half, prior to extraction. Perfect T bone shot with the shovel! Skill.

Nice one Tom! It's funny how shiny stuff makes our day, even with a .35$ melt. I'd take that any day over a clad quarter and clad dime equivalent. Haha. Hope you guys are enjoying spring down there
