I got out this past saturday hit the ussual spots and scored some C.W lead 9 to be exact and also scored a few artillery frags. And yesterday I had a few hours after work and was local to the coin field and decided to hit it for a hour . Since the AT is back at garret getting fixed for the second time in 3 months I broke out the ole trusty xlt put it in coin mode and off I went skirting the field in the manicured grass next to the old smoke house .I hit a 85 real faint but quick so I backed up and swung again another 85 , so I had to investigate as I openned the hole I saw nails nice rusty ones and so I cleaned them out and swung again and again a 85 showing 50 cent on the screen with a nice high pitch sound so I put the pin pointer in and just under 2 inches below the surface she was looking back at me ... man I did the happy dance after composing myself I wiped off some dirt to reveal a beautifull morgan dollar 1884 my first large silver man was I one happy camper and then near that while sorting through some nails and other stuff i discovered a silver medalion with a knight on it and a peice to a 1800's site glass ... what a hour hunt it was ... I will be posting the video on youtube soon having some computer issues . Thanks for looking ...
