Howdy,
I didn't find much out detecting today, but I picked up this piece of flint, I think it shows signs of being worked but if it does it would only be the second Indian artifact I have ever found... so I am pretty new to this. If it's just a rock, no loss, I just carried around a rock...

Found in NE Ohio at a place where people are known to have found artifacts and on a neighboring property I did find a piece I verified was an artifact. (I also have half a mile of creek to walk on a property nearby too!)

The field is going to get plowed and planted in about a month I think, I got permission from an almost adjacent property for creek hunting though as well.

I was talking to a few of the neighbors who said people always used to find a bunch of arrowheads and things in the area so I think it's probably been hit hard but I know from metal detecting, that a site is never hunted out and there is almost certainly more to be found... here goes my social life.
