I found this coin today at an old rural homestead.

I've previously only found victorian coins at this site, the oldest one dating to 1864, and this was a deep target, so I was expecting something old.

But this is something entirely different.

It's fairly toast but there should be enough detail to identify it, although the date may be too far gone.

So it looks like I have found my oldest, and first token, not coin :occasion14:
