3 to 1 return for your investment?

I'd say you did well!

You're smarter than Greenspan, Bernancke, Volker, and the rest of 'em!

Congrats.

I don't know THAT math... ;D

$2.17 under spot...

Is that working out to something less than 20% for the broker/buyer?

I'd say he's just trying to hedge his bet/gamble, wouldn't you?

I've got a local pawn shop that will give me $9 a gram anytime I wish to sell scrap gold.
That time never happened!
They have no interest in .925 silver jewelry. Zero, zip, nada.

The news recently presented a story about someone who negotiated 5K off the price of a new Prius.
I want THAT guy on MY team!

I thought 3.75-4x face and looks like he did just below that with 3.35x face so not the end of the world...plus, if you get them at face value, you have to call that a Win!!

sure beats what a coin shop offered me today....$.70 per 40% coin.

I litterally laughed at him

a little low, but hey you made a profit, that is what matters

i woulda keept them! silver is silver, 40% or 90% it all sits in the closet just the same. and the kid like to play with them too!

I probobly wouldn't have sold them.. I think you did good.. maybe you could have gotten a little more, but you never know.. nice work!

I never sell under 2$ a piece unless a minimum of 50 is bought

I took the $$$$ amount the dealer paid versus how much Ag content is in 33 40%er's.....and at spot right NOW; the dealer paid almost $2 Under spot value

But again, if you got 'em CRHing, you still came out ahead....

My local coin dealer told me the same thing. We were talking and I told hime that I had some rolls that I'd been saving (he doesn't know I CRH). He said " Bring them by anytime, they're worth $.70 each here". I told him that I didn't want to sell them. I would put them all in the Salvation Army bucket at Christmas before I would sell them for that.

I think you sold too low. I think you could have done better on ebay than that. But if you're happy, that's all that matters. ;D
