Here are my Hunts Friday thru today.
Took Friday off, after I did a small honey-do list and then went to finish a permission on a house built in the 1890s. Only found 72 cents, nothing older than a 57D Wheat. I then went back to a permission from last year. The house is on the 1874 map. I must have cleaned this yard out last year. Only pulled a small button. Went on the lookout for another permission. I found a house from the late 1800s and was given permission. There are 3 kids that live there. I got 30 minutes of hunting in until the 3 young-uns decided to not listen and stay beside or behind me, but rather stay in front of me. Made it hard to swing the coil. I went to the garage and chatted with the owner for about 30 minutes and can go back anytime. He will keep the kids away in the future. Only pulled 63 cents, all clad and a chopped up 6 shooter cap piston that was in about 8 pieces.
Saturday I went back to the site I pulled my banner find. Only dug 7 cents. 1901 IHP and 5 wheats (42D, 48S, 50Dx2, & 52D). I decided to go see what the fair grounds had to offer. Pulled $1.44 and found a $2.00 extension that someone must have dropped last weekend when they had the Antique engine show and flea market. Went to the sports park to cherry pick for a while, pulled $2.02. Went to the middle school to hunt the tot lot and cherry pick $1.36, 2 wheats 1942 & 56D. I stopped off at a house that was also a shoes store back in the late 1800's. The gentleman gave me permission, but I would have to do it when he is home only. He was leaving and recommend that I come back Sunday and hunt from. 10-11am

Sunday I went to the new permission promptly at 10am. The lady of the house opened the door and told me that they changed their minds and I am no longer allowed to hunt their yard. Man this is one promising permission site. A store from the 1800's. Man what a buzz kill. Decided to go back to Roy's. pulled 2 more IHPs, 1878 and another 1901., 8 wheats 1917, 20, 29, 30, 46, 54Dx2, &55D. Decided I needed a good clad hunt and went to my honey hole a couple towns away. I ended up pulling $16.28 in about 3 hours.
