I SEE GREEN COPPERS! LITERALLY

decided to go back to an old spot that's been pounded pretty good.
In the past I got a CT & MASS copper,Dan got a KGII,George got a CT? Frank got a spanish reale & Rog got a KG i think?
numerous designed colonial tombacs have come out of these 2 sites as well. That's what i was hopin to dig but did much better than i anticipated!
I headed right up to where i dug my 1st coppers at the 1st site.right near the well amongst the iron nails a very worn copper i think i can see a faint bust( thinkin KG).slightly smaller in diameter than my next one which i think is a wiped out colonial state copper. then i dug a pair of green lensed spectacles,they are so fragile and kinda just crumbled when taking them out of the hole next was a pocket watch winder,a few buttons and last target was a watch fob type of thing with a chain.
Just amazed at how the ground conditions are so vital with target response.perfect conditions today,warm weather and moist soil.
1/4 of a copper to go to hit 60!

Nice going on the coppers Dave! One of my favorite types of finds are the old watch winders. I am amazed at how often I find them!

I like em too! you can still see the design on it.similiar markings like they did on the dandy buttons

I have seen those glasses before........wait! let me think....I got it, they were used to read the (reverse side) of the Declaration of Independence in the movie "National Treasure"......What a great find!! Banner........ That is a good day of detecting!
