I saved my pulltabs... (until I struck GOLD!)

Its been over a year since I started saving my pulltabs... I wanted to see how long it took and how many pulltabs I'd find before I found GOLD or it found me. (depends how you look at it)

On the V3i it rang up as a solid 19+ vdi...I thought it was a nickel...

Congrats on the gold...now you can start a new pile of pulltabs.

The few pieces of gold I've found over the last year or so in parks were all on top of the ground just covered by grass. I don't remember when I actually dug gold last but it was definitely at the beach.

I don't feel so alone anymore. I've been hunting around my yard, and all I've found so far is a butt-load of pull tabs. I have to learn how to operate my discrimination feature.

it was just lighting... I cleaned it up and took a picture of it next to a yellow gold ring... yeah its gold.... just white gold.

keep at it... you'll find rings... maybe not in your yard but they are out there... funny thing is... probably because of its size it did not ring up like a pull tab does... it was like a Nickel!!! on my V3i nickels ring up as a solid 19+ VDI and this ring did the same... so I assumed it was a nickel. so much for digging all them other pulltab like signals... I can only assume all rings ring up differently depending on size and shape... you'll have to ask a beach hunter they get a large assortment of rings... it help to go where rings are lost too. Ask a beach hunter!

Congrats on the ring, I have the cash-4-gold number around here some place lol. If i were you id put that ring on a necklace to remind myself that sometimes you dig a thousand worthless targets to get the good stuff. Good Job guy
