I did provided little information in this scenario on purpose. I have realized recently, if I give information regarding location then people give me answers in which they assume rather than observe. I understand it can’t be accurately identified without information like hardness, but I’m curious of what people think solely on observation, mainly crystal formation and color.

Many minerals, crystals, etc, from different regions can have similar visual characteristics, yet be very different due to the specific geochemical characteristics and geologic formation.

Nephrite Jade, for example, has visual characteristics very similar to gem serpentine. Especially to the untrained eye. They are very different in chemical makeup, texture, translucence, among other qualities.

Pictures alone, in many cases, would be insufficient.

Time for more coffee.

That's unsound thinking. Everything we say here is an assumption since we don't have the specimen in front of us. Derp.
