GMT has a short learning curve, and is a great detector. is this your first detector? set everything to the arrows (presets) turn your threshold up to where
you just hear it, pump the unit up and down a couple of times close to the ground. when there is no sound pumping the up and down you r balanced. HH

The meetings are held at the, American Legion Hall, in Rio Linda. They start at 10:00 am and usually last about 2 hours.

That last vid is a really good sound for gold! Nice and soft. Once you hear that, you know you got lead or gold.
i tried to show a fella about the quality of the sounds, but he could not tell any difference. Practice makes perfect.
 

Gonna give it a try Sunday again. And the coil on gmt can get wet right? Like up to a foot deep or something?

yuup ya can get the coil wet, no worries, well if ya slip and get the unit wet &()*^&*% of a day
