I need a dump

I just rolled up over $3K in halves. I need to find a better dump situation. Can't find a machine or preferably a bag dump. This hand rollin' is not enjoyable. Have scored 16 40%ers, 1 '64 and 1 '52-D, along with 5 proofs, ~60 NIFC's and a Panamanian half.

I have a box of nickels that have been sitting around for weeks because I don't want to roll them and I don't have a bag or machine.

If you cant find a bank to take bags or a bank/CU with a coin machine in your area then id say dont do any kind of volume in boxes- other wise youre going to be circulating the same coins more often than not-
Just my opinion and i know I would stop box hunting all together if I didnt have the banks with coin machines I have

That is the problem out here, only coin counters are a fee style, 3% to 8%, and that adds up fast when your dumping $2,000 dollars in coins. Even members of the bank or credit union pay the fee. So dumping at the banks is the easiest. Yes, they unroll all the rolled coins I give them and dump into a bag. I've been going in there for over 3 years, almost 4 years and they still will not take the coins in a bag from me at that branch. The other branch only wants them in the bag.

How true!
I received two boxes of "rerolls" (My own that I roll in non-MRWs) Friday each from a different bank. What a let down when you get home, open a box and see that. I guess Brinks is getting no less lazy.

Not really brinks fault is it? They are to supply 500$ or whatever is ordered, sounds like that is what got delivered, Im sure the box was weighed and within their limits.

Sucks iv got 3 or 4 rerolled boxes in my years doing this. How about opening another account from a different carrier and dump in there, you wont
get your same batch of coins back untill someone from the other carrier dumps it back the other way.

I'm not really sure what happened, when I picked them up I didn't notice they were unsealed and the banks I dump boxes at have always told me the bag then before they send them out????
I dump mostly in bags and a few in boxes, the only coin counters around here are at my pick-up banks so no good there.
I've received a dozen or so "rerolls" in the past but they were always in sealed boxes and always a mix of Brinks and Loomas rolls inside with a few unopened Brinks roll to fill the Box. Beats me.

Maybe change your pick up bank and start using the machines there to dump instead

I have, and I've asked a few people as well, none used free ones so I just assumed that it wasn't. And like below, not everyone has free coin counters.

your original quote: "Do most people who do halves not 're-roll your rolls? I've seen quite a few that don't and a lot that coinstar or something. What's so bad about wrapping halves? There's not that many in a roll and if you lose percentage, you lose a lot of money.. why not take the 10 minutes to 're-roll a box?
I get it if you're not wanting to 're-roll 3ks worth, but I feel like you should get into re-rolling as you go with fillers for halves for that much."

Re-rolling makes no sense if you have free coin counters in you are as many of us do. IMO re-rolling is the last option behind a) coin counters b) bag dumping and c) cutting/taping. Telling people that "I feel like you should get into re-rolling" is a bit puzzling to me.
