Thanks again everyone. I'm having to get over some current health issues before they move to more invasive tests. Still losing weight and energy. Hanging in there.

One thing I used for increased energy was Noni-Juice. From the morinda citrifolia noni fruit. I like this brand the best and I find it in the Whole Food market. Do a shot in the morning and a shot at night, on an empty stomach. I can tell the difference when I use it and when I don't.

Try to get lots of fruits and veggies, juices, the stuffs that's good for you and hang in there! There is also a thread under the Healthcare section, towards the bottom, about asparagus. Perhaps that could be a source of energy for you, too. If I was closer, I would bring all this stuff to you. Do let me know, if I can be of some kind of assistance to you, from here in Florida.

Well I have been a member here for over 10 years. Not always as active as I would like, life gets busy. There are some awesome folks here and I have always enjoyed being here and sharing our finds. Not long ago I had a major case of acute pancreatitis. I almost died in the ER. They managed to stabilize me and after some time in the hospital, I am back home. My pancreas is still not working well. I am scheduled for a ton of tests in the coming weeks, but they are suspecting cancer. If it is in the pancreas, then I face a survival rate of 2%. If it is elsewhere, then I will fight it with everything that I have. I do hope they come up with another explanation for the pancreatitis, that would be best case scenario. I'm not ready to go, so this is pretty frustrating and scary. I could use all the prayers y'all feel like sending to the big guy.

I have had it 2 times in the last 2 yrs. It is a very painful type of attack. I did all the test and they cant find a thing wrong as to the reason it comes on me and yes you can die from just the attack. It could be your Gaulblader instead which is a simple thing to remove. I wish you best of luck on it and hope they find the reason it happened to you and can fix it, rock

I just wanted to add something and I hope it helps for you. Stop drinking everything except water and G2 Gatorade. I do drink 1 cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of tea once in a while. Make sure you eat plenty of green veggies like salad. It could be your diet. Avoid all spicy foods. Cut back on all salt anything that is white in color is bad for you. I have really corrected my diet since the last attack and it has really helped. I dont get Heartburn anymore which is a sign you might be getting sick. Its a tough diet to follow but it has worked so far for me, rock

Had a friend in Maryland diagnosed with stage4 pancreatic cancer his doctor put him on a drug designed for ovarian cancer and he lived 5 years in remission before it came back. He got on local and nationwide tv when Medicare decided not to pay for the drugs saying they were experimental. After the story was picked up by the media they changed their mind.

Check your cholesterol and triglyceride readings. Extremely high readings will cause the orifice of the pancreas to swell close and that causes the
acids that the pancreas normally discharges into the stomach to digest food to stay in the pancreas and basically start digesting itself. There are amazing
drugs for controlling cholesterol now. My wife has had it 2 times and I lost my daughter to the condition.

A warning sign is a pimply rash on a part of the body that does not itch. If you or anyone you know speaks of something like this get blood work done
ASAP. It could save their lives. When pancreatitis attacks triglyceride readings can be over 10,000!

Best wishes to you & rest assured, you will be in our prayers. If you are so inclined, get some Astrogalus from your local herb shop. It's an old Chinese herb (huang qui) and an excellent cancer killer. I have been using it since diagnosed with Bladder cancer in 2010, with excellent results so far. Whatever you do, DON"T give up.

I'm still here. My attack is still a mystery! Tests, tests, tests. I'm back working, and eating and drinking healthy. Doing everything that I can to live right. I'm even on a workout program. Thanks again for all the thoughts. It makes me tear up a bit thinking about all of y'all worrying about me.
