Which is your favorite one?

Any gold coin?

Most antique?

Rare?

Walking Liberty Half, 1917
My Polish Trojac. Found it in 2013. Hammered silver right here in a South Jersey farm field. I think if i remeber it may be 1590's. I don't even keep it with my collection. Its has it' own case because it's paper thin.

Honestley. I had no idea what it was. I thought it was a cheap charm off of a bracelet. A TNet member id'd it for me.

No gold coin(s) found by me yet. One of these days I'll find one. But to be honest, even if I did find a gold coin, it will be hard to top my favorite coin I found metal detecting back in 2013. It is a silver 1 Pfennig of Arnold II von Isenburg. It dates from 1242-1259. It's a pretty rare coin and to find one metal detecting was an experience to always remember.
