I like pearls and white gold surprises
Today, my wife and I found a pair of 7mm "MIKIMOTO" pearl earrings with .10ct diamond chips mounted in 18kt yellow gold....
Cost: $5
My wife knew the name; when I saw the box I thought the name was a place to eat.......

I like white gold.... Although yellow and rose gold are more beautiful, white gold seems to be the easiest to be confused with Sterling Silver. It makes for great surprises!!! Along with the pearls, we spent a total of $64 on many baggies of jewelry at quite an upscale home's garage sale. I've always read of people buying gold necklaces for $.50-cents or a dollar, then, a few months ago I find a 14kp yellow gold necklace weighing just over 11.5 grams....for .50-cents... Today, I beat my record!
In the top two best baggies, so far, I found 102 grams of Sterling Silver and in the pic showing two bracelets and their pricing, the one on the left is a 14.6 gram 18kt white gold bracelet. The plastic baggie pictures tell the story.....
They don't show me hunting for a spare Oxygen bottle..and De-Fib paddles.
