I Knew I'd Find Them If It Would Rain

Yesterday it finally rained. We were really dry. We got 1.1 inches at our house but I don't think they got that much in the field I went to 22 miles from home. At least they got enough for me to find these. I looked 4 hours in part of the filed and was pleased to find these. I'm planning to go back tomorrow afternoon.

This one is heavily beveled.

A very small drill.

The one in the middle is whole.

Wow, very cool...
Just wondering, did the Southern California Natives fabricate arrow and spear heads?

Even in close proximity to water sources, I have never come across one (or know of anyone who has) in the Prairies or deserts.

I think our Indians prepared corn meal, rather then hunted. (Lazy indians)

That first one is killer…but I think that Abbey-style one is my favorite…well done!

Looks like you an excellent day! You found some really nice ones! :icon_thumleft:

Wow those are great. That field is a great place to hunt. Hope there will be more when you get more rain.

Nice artifacts you find some really good points down there in Georgia!

Im asking the same thing. Been looking alot lately just for one arrowhead. Cannot find one. Pretty discouraging.
My mom claims she used to find them 15 years ago on her gpas property. You never know.. I am SoCal myself.
