Well yesterday was a tough day, but I had fun anyways. You know it's bad when a 9 year old asks if your having fun digging nails. So you know, there are about 6-7 nails not in the pic's. When you find an old gutter hanger and the brat thinks it's capt kids hook it makes up for it. I found an aluminum foil package squashed, I saw writing o it and thought about that cigarette pack. Hmmmmm anything in there? Yep I see papaer, could it be old currencey? Nope directions on how to boil the best tea in the USA. I did not know they put tea in aluminum foil packages, much more knowledgeable now. The small nail hook Ty thought might be Capt Kids kids hook. Well now I'm letting the little buger off the hook (no pun intended). Three nail hole produces a bonus of the marble. At last a wheatie, fewh.........1956 D, I'll take it!!! No clue what the little snowmobile ski looking thing is and the long thingamajigger.......at least it had a nail in it, I would have been dissapointed if it did'nt. Gerr identified it as junk. Dang he's right again.

Oh I did'nt find a whole arrow head but some nice shards, I'll take it.

All in all it was a beautiful New England day in the 60's and sunny. And I got out. So warm my flox are blossoming, whats up with that!

That one big foil looking item is no doubt what is left of a poor slob who took off his aluminum foil hat in the presence of aliens. I've warned people about that over and over but no one listens! I think all finds are good finds. Keep it up and when you least expect it....BLING!! Don't you wish you still had the imaginaltion you once had as a child? Monty

I was throwing it away and Ty says "why are you throwing your treasure away?" I never give up, and with Ty around I still have that imagination, have to if I wanna keep up!

Very entertaining finds Loved "Kids Hook" gotta save that one, The secret to Great tea is add ice and sugar in a Tall glass on a hot day you will guzzel it like a thirsty camel and look for more, Some northeners may have never heard that one, So i thought I might add it.

Hey Country Girl, that hook looks like the one they are advertising on TV. You know the one,
you push it through the wall and you can hold tons of junk on it. MMMMMMMMMMMM you may have found one, it just looks a little bigger, ha ha!

You know I always say, I just love this hobby and if it is a really nice day and you don't find
very much, well it sure was a nice day to hunt. Better than being stuck at work and dreaming of
metal detecting. You DID IT!.

Keep hunting and try to discriminate those nails out.

Nothing wrong with nails, kinda like the big square headed ones (they look good in purple). As long as I'm outside I'm happy. Ring is in my future somewhere just need to get rid of all those nails first! Thanks for looking!
