Well yesterday was a tough day, but I had fun anyways. You know it's bad when a 9 year old asks if your having fun digging nails. So you know, there are about 6-7 nails not in the pic's. When you find an old gutter hanger and the brat thinks it's capt kids hook it makes up for it. I found an aluminum foil package squashed, I saw writing o it and thought about that cigarette pack. Hmmmmm anything in there? Yep I see papaer, could it be old currencey? Nope directions on how to boil the best tea in the USA. I did not know they put tea in aluminum foil packages, much more knowledgeable now. The small nail hook Ty thought might be Capt Kids kids hook. Well now I'm letting the little buger off the hook (no pun intended). Three nail hole produces a bonus of the marble. At last a wheatie, fewh.........1956 D, I'll take it!!! No clue what the little snowmobile ski looking thing is and the long thingamajigger.......at least it had a nail in it, I would have been dissapointed if it did'nt. Gerr identified it as junk. Dang he's right again.

Oh I did'nt find a whole arrow head but some nice shards, I'll take it.

All in all it was a beautiful New England day in the 60's and sunny. And I got out. So warm my flox are blossoming, whats up with that!

We can get together and build anything I'm sure! Tea secrect boil water until hot swish around the bag and flavor to taste then drink. Might have that wrong only got 1 out of 300 words? Best tea in the USA and thats Salada tea!

Hey don't sweat it, just think you'll have better luck next time country girl.
I'm still hopeful that some of us New Englanders may still get the chance to get together (2nd time for some) if the weather can cooperate for a few more weeks. One thing about New England weather is you just never know from minute to minute.

The guys are going to make me a junk bin for my nails and STUFF, when I get it full they're going to load it in the dually and take it to the scrap yard. They think it will take me a year but with the price of steele I should have a mortgage payment!

Actually there is an Island just up the river from us they call Capt Kid's Island. So we always talk about finding the treasure someday . He has quite the imagination and see's mystery in things we don't. He cleary knows what a nail is but the rest of the world is wide open for story telling! I wish he was around daily but bi-weekly will have to do. He is one of my tenants boy, so I'm Auntie Kim. Thank you!

It's an old gutter hanger, believe it or not the end that goes into the house is just like a giant NAIL. Or it's Capt. Kid's hook, just depends on how old you are!
