I had a great day relic hunting. I tried to get over a button & couldn't get it done lol. My buddy's did though. A North Carolina and South Carolina. Ill post a picture of them. The place is nuts. All finds are Gettysburg campaign.

Ok. I recognize that front. Can’t read the writing over the top….does it say North Carolina, or something else?

If I recall right the "Sunbursts" were late war & mostly dug in the SE ( GA , TN , AL MS , SC & NC of -course ) + they were poolly made where the Shanks broke off easily & most are Dug Shankless .

I don't like you anymore! Here I sit with all my sites off limits until mid January because of deer season, and there you are tearing it up!

DiggerPA , Another super day again & it's cool to see the Teknetics G2 still out doing some work , as it's still my main machine , even tho I got a Brand New AT Pro .

That G2 is a better relic machine buddy. I did side by side in field comparison. G2 hit stuff the AT couldn't.

I tried the ATP in Spring & was kinda disappointed but It was my first time using the machine & I plan on using it for coin hunts mostly .

I used the G2 on Sunday & got a quarter of a fuse tip , a fired or cut Minnie & best of all a Button that I have yet to clean , I think? it's an 'I' button but hope it's a state type ; but if it's an 'I' .. It is a type that I have never Dug .

Ill get my son to take & post pics here ASAP .

I still can barely walk today LOL.

I would have got more IMO but a guy who claimed to own property past his line , including a City Sewer Line (that overflowed during Helene leaving Tampons , Condoms , Dope Baggies , etc all over the ground) ,
I did not see hip cleaning up that mess of his Million Dollar + property . + He had No Idea what I was looking for . ( Him living in a Historic Area ) .

Yea I was MAD ! but have calmed down , so much for Southern Housepitality.

I even offered to sign a waiver .

I know where the line is & where the right of way is so ( As the Termadidder Said " Ill be Back " . LOL
