Tenderfoot
Today Dad and I went to the site where he found a New Jersey cent .
The property has two springs, we had detected around one of them, but not the other. So that's were I decided I needed to go.
When I got back there, one of the first signals I got was not a very consistant one but I decided to dig it because the Etrac said it was deep.
It was not as deep as I expected it to be, but what can I say about depth when I pulled out a 1797 Large Cent!
I've only ever found one large cent before, and you can only be content at seeing everyone else pull them out of the ground left and right for so long. So I decided it was my turn to find one.
Dad got a cent too, but I hate to say that it is only from the 1980s.
