I sell my e-book STOP for GOLD on e-bay and someone gave me a neutral.

* it was ok, for garage sales and if you have your own testing equipment.

Of course it is about garage sales, I point that out in my listing. And of course you need testing equipment, we are talking about precious metals VS junk jewelry.

I want to do a comeback under his comment. Do they allow that any more? Rick of Pawn Stars used to have some pretty nasty comments under his bad feedback comments. Just checked, they have all run off the bottom of his page.

My comment wont be snide like rick's but point out the facts of this business in one line.

never mind, I just found it. As usual ebay tries to hide things. It is not words saying comment on feedback, it is a little round icon you have to click on and then it takes you to respond link page.

Also noticed something new a "report this buyer" link. since when does ebay care what a seller thinks about their buyers?

Dan,

Dont do that.

Call ebay and have the feedback removed.

I had two Neutrals removed due to buyer stating what they didn't like, being in my description of said item. As long as "garage sale" was in your description they shouldn't be able to complain about that.

I will give it a try. don't have time to call but i will use that new "report a buyer" link.

I made a purchase and the seller left me some pretty funny positive feedback. I was buying a micro screen for a pond filter but it seems he sells micro screens mostly to marijuana users. He does not respond to neutral but here are a few of his responses to negatives. My favorite replies have been pulled but here are a few gems.

Sent me wrong screens can't use this garbage

Really dude? The 20 microns are garbage because you can't figure out to use them

Item took weeks to get to me. Slowest transaction i've even had on eBay

You asked for a refund. You received a refund. Did you want a hug also?

$3.95 piece of mesh. Ordered on the 25th. No emails from this person. D-Bag!

Last one is my favorite. I would buy from him again.

Luckily, I've avoided negatives so far. I did receive one painful neutral about a bulk lot of vintage lighters. Every lighter was photographed (en mass) on the top, bottom, front and back Bigger Than Life Size. The description clearly stated that 0% were in working condition and that a few flints and wicks were included to get them started, with expectation of 95% to work after servicing. On receipt, he wrote back that he wished he knew better what condition they were in before he ordered them. He had 4 previous purchases before mine, and no grasp of how important eBay reputation is.

I believe you raised expectations by basically guessing that 95% of them would work. If you stick to the facts in descriptions, you will do better.

I got a negative feedback. The woman didn't like the lot (she bought a JUNK lot of jewelry, duh!). She wrote, awful, very disappointed. I called Ebay, and they wouldn't take it off. I said she never contacted me to try and make it right. They said all I can do is leave a reply. She was expressing her opinion, and that is what feedback is. I wrote back that if she is unhappy, she should send it back for a refund. then I blocked her. Too bad on her. The stuff was total junk. I would have just refunded her the money if she had taken the time to message me. She was a newbie, with less than 10 feedback.

good luck getting it removed.

I sent a report on the buyer (ebay offers that) ebay ignored my report. I even sent a msg to the buyer he ignored that. I guess it is time for a reply.

I have had buyers purchase a fixed price listing and then never pay for the item, only to leave me a negative feedback.
I reported the buyer and tried to get the feedback removed, but it never happened.

you can at least leave a feedback reply under your neg, explaining.

you can also leave a false positive f/b to this "customer" if you can get to that sale on the feedback page.

do it something like this

Great eBayer! makes a purchace and never pays. sellers watchout.

It should have, sometimes it takes is a phone call but there is a link posted below for reporting buyers feedback. Sellers who don't pay for an item cannot leave negative feedback, period. Rather I should say, if they do leave it ebay will remove it for you. If you cancelled the sale then that's a different story, then they can still leave negative feedback. Always use the unpaid item assistant when someone doesn't pay.

Can I get Feedback changed or removed?
