I got mauled by fire ants

Twice over the summer I kneeled down, recovered a target, got back up and saw my legs were swarmed with big black ants. Got up... did a little jig. Those black ants stung quite a bit so I can only imagine what fire ants are like.

Fire ants are tied for number 8 on the list as to why I moved north.

I hate chiggers. I still have scars from almost two years ago.

I got covered up on my legs with chiggers one time.. Best thing I could find was to scrape my legs with a knife (not cut, but scratch) then wipe them down with isopropyl alcohol, hurt like hell, but stopped the itching..
