I got got the ACE 350

I don't know BUT I think the Pro will pick up the same size
pieces if gold that the Gold will.. honestly...

I've hit on some teeny tiny pieces of stuff at a decent depth with this thing!

If you're going to be specifically going for gold in the mountains and stuff
then get the God but otherwise I'd stick with thePro

Are you using the small coil with it?

Yukon Corn you'll love your 350,I myself have a 250 and love mine, all I need is a sniper coil and it will be complete.Noticed that you have a Pro-pointer and a plastic scopper ,personaly I would get a small shovel or a good hand digger

Yea I have to get a small shovel. And a good hand digger.

I will be making that dive soon. Do you prefer using the small coil over the big coil?

Do you have the small coil 5 x 8?

I am going to lock and load getting ready. Hitting the beach hard today.

you got it now , so quit "sweating" the --"did I pick the "right one" issue" -- yes its a good decent quality machine * once YOU put say 100 hours of time "in the field" using it and really get to know your machine well and your finding goals are realistic --your should do well --- remember 2 key things --for old better finds --you need to do research to find where folks hung out at and what was where in the olden days in your area --and the second one is --for you to find it first it had to be "lost" there * areas with old fairgrounds , parks , high impact sports -football, baseball ,soccer and such are prime spots --and the last tip is to find gold rings --you will dig pulltabs --lots of them per ring found.

The small coil is lighter, but covers less ground. It is however better at picking targets, out of areas with high trash content. The way to get around the weight of the big coil (stock one) is to use a harness,or Detecting Buddy. Then it really doesn't matter what coil you are using, the machine is light as a feather!

Agreed 100% right

I run 5x8 coil on my well used 350, easier for me. Slow in a chair. have a new 350 too, going to put large coil on it. The areas i hunt have lots of targets and the 5x8 makes it easier(for me) to get a little better separation. More than once silver has come as a wee hit with other targets with it. You,ll know what i mean in time, if not all ready.
The silver i have dug came from places that have been hit long and hard. But because they are trashy, and i dig trash heavy at start of hunts, they were missed cause other targets were with or near them. All deep,(several inches)where coin hits are different than a couple inches deep. Wiggling coil or tiny swing to coax iffy hits.
As mentioned, hard to measure a unit till lots of hours put on it. What a user will find that way will outweigh my opinion. Happy Hunting, keep it fun.
