Yea man I am looking at the coin read book and it looks as if I may be a Civil War Token. How do I clean it? Must be made of brass or copper it has the green coloring.

For now just a little soap and water, soak it a little bit and use soft brush.
Others may help too, there are so many ways I'm not the expert though.

Not bad at all. Picked up 9 corona bottle caps too.

Don't feel bad about those bottle caps, every detector will pick those up despite what certain people will say! Just watch last nights episode of "Dig Wars"! It had to be the Garrett headphones he was using!

Im not afraid to admit I have one of those expensive detectors with a sef coil & the sunray probe its a whites v3i so dont think that cuz they r expensive they dont pick bottle caps aswell

Looks like Indian Head cent. You can make out the headdress feathers.

You can almost make out some of the date on right side in pic (top of coin is left). Chair was on the money about the orientation.

Pretty tough to see. You might try just wetting coin with plain water, sometimes you can see little more detail as its drying. Or a loupe(magnifying glass). Cool find Yukon!!!
