This week has pretty much sucked, here with my in-laws, wifey back home alone, beating the street trying to secure employment. Finally, this afternoon I got a written commitment confirming a job. Hopefully it’ll placate my mortgage company, and we’ll be able to close on our dream home.
Thanks to all my guys on Tnet for your encouragement and support...
I’ll be hauling a$$ back to Ft. Myers at 4am, 16 hours later I’ll get home and pass out.
Sunday recover, watch golf, and get ready to give my boss my 2 weeks Monday morning, which will be epic!

I told you brother...keep positive and that stepping stone will pan out!

My wife and I are leaving the Florida seasons for the mountain seasons.
Snowbird, dry, rainy, and hurricane seasons are being cashed in for winter, spring, summer, and fall.
It’s been since 1996 that I’ve experienced normal seasons.
365 days of summer sucks.
Western Maryland is our happy place

I love western Maryland, travel through there twice a year and always stay in Grantsville coming and going. And of course you have the old national road through the area and who knows what treasure awaits there.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!! If you use U Haul to move, check different locations. Their prices run by where equipment is needed. Sometimes a little bigger trailer will save you $$$ And dropping it at a different location can save you too. I moved one time and dropping the truck at a yard 9 miles away from the one closest to where I was moving was $100 something cheaper.

Great news, Dave and the best of wishes for you. I couldn't find a decent job 38 years ago, so I started my own business and can't imagine having to work for somebody else now. On the other hand, I'm working for everybody and have to keep 'em all happy!
