I posted about this insignia a while back but wanted to give an update on it. When I recovered this 11th US cavalry badge as you will see from the before pictures it was bent pretty bad. A nice piece but I was hoping to have it returned to its original shape. I contacted JP Hunts on Facebook to see if he would take on the project to repair the badge to its issued configuration and he did. I just got it back and I am very happy with the results!

Very, very nice. Do you know how old it is?
The 11th US cavalry was stationed here in Des Moines, Iowa at Ft. Des Moines from 1904-1906 so it likely dates to that time period.
